One Day Eats n Things in Denver, Colorado
A dispensary, an amphitheater, and the best tuna sandwich I’ve ever had.
My friend Gigi visits a new city every year for her birthday — which happens to be the same day as my son’s birthday. I’m usually unable to accompany her but this year, I decided to make it happen.
While speeding down a two lane highway, she mentioned that she was thinking about moving to Denver and wanted to look at a few apartments while we were there. I could see the allure of the place — very little traffic, legal weed, and beautiful sights.
The mountains scaled the highway as we danced in the car to Meg the Stallion, Glorilla, and Cardi.
One thing that this trip taught me was how to have a good time with the time you have. We often think that short trips aren’t enough time to have fun, but this trip proved you can get a little taste of a place as long as you’re willing to let curiosity lead the way. With that being said, I’m sharing my favorite things from our 48 hour trip in Colorado.
